WORKSHOP
→ NUOVA BOZZA VOL.2
Experimental onomaturgy lab | curated by Noura Tafeche
For second generations who don't like being defined as such. Which words describe our experience as children of migration and diaspora? Social media, institutional debate and media narratives keep imposing labels that shape our personal and social positions: this lab asks which of them we actually feel comfortable with, and invites us to reclaim language collectively.
Onomaturgy is the art of inventing new words, an artistic and political tool. The lab lays the groundwork for a shared reflection and puts into practice participatory methods for coining new terms. The neologisms will be collected in a printed publication curated by Galattica and sent to the Accademia della Crusca. The workshop is supported by OtherNetwork Foundation.
Noura Tafeche

WORKSHOP
→ DUEMILAQUATTRO
Time-trip and storytelling workshop curated by Altalena
A little trip through time. It starts from a promotional map of Milan from 2004, found in a neighbourhood market, listing bars, clubs, gyms and tanning salons: some still exist, many don't.
In the morning we walk through an area of the city to see what is left of 2004, what has changed and what has stayed identical, in reality or in our imagination. In the afternoon, at GALATTICA, we browse excerpts of Milan local newspapers from the early 2000s. The two activities are the starting point for a collective narrative.
Altalena
A transdisciplinary research group active in contemporary art and culture since 2017.

TALK
→ GENEALOGIE
Requiem for late liberalism | Marco Liberatore (ippolita) in conversation with Natália Trejbalová | by Timeo
“Capitalism is an enormous foundry, throwing the living and the dead into its furnace,” writes Elizabeth Povinelli in Geontologies, by now a classic of contemporary decolonial thought. The image captures the logic of a system that, through extraction, progressively turns the living and the non-living into available matter. Whereas extractivism once deprived only the world's “periphery” of its resources, we are now all sacrificable resources for an energy-hungry delirium that no longer knows reasons or borders. In this scenario, Geontologies becomes a fundamental tool for understanding the transformations of a ruthless colonialism: one that no longer stops at the map but has managed to sink into the bowels of the earth, extending to the very matter of the world and to the conditions that make life possible.
Elizabeth A. Povinelli
Teaches Anthropology and Gender Studies at Columbia University. Co-founder of the Karrabing Film Collective. Author of Economies of Abandonment.
Ippolita
Independent research group on the critical theory of automation and technopolitics. Workshops on digital self-defence.
Natália Trejbalová
Visual artist from Košice based in Milan, working across film, sculpture and drawing. Starting from science and speculative fiction, she explores world-building as a political tool to rethink the more-than-human ecosystem.
Timeo
Like Plato's dialogue, Timeo sees thought as listening and dialogue. It explores what is thinkable to offer a cartography of this extreme present and the tools to repair it.

You will fold, sew and assemble pages with needle, thread, coloured paper and more to create unique books.
Suitable for first-timers as well as enthusiasts who want to refine their technique. Tools and materials are provided.

WORKSHOP
→ THE RISO CLUB
Workshop with SoyBot | open call, selection based on portfolio
Risograph is an eco-friendly printing method where the chromatic attitude of screen printing meets the fast reproduction times of photocopying and the softness of inkjet prints. A professional solution for photos, drawings, collage and text.
The two days are led by the duo SoyBot, who will develop a small collective editorial project to approach the technique, understand it better and start managing it, from design to printing. The workshop ends with a box-making session: each participant builds by hand the box that will hold their zine, using a special 90-degree stapler provided by the Korean brand Cornervery. The results will be gathered in a non-linear catalogue for the XERRORX thematic exhibition, taking place during SPRINT26.
The open call is for artists, photographers, illustrators and visual designers who love editorial experimentation and want a first approach to Risograph or to deepen their knowledge.
SoyBot
A Vienna-based duo of artists working across illustration, graphics and hardware. They run a micro-publishing house and a riso printing studio.
